The below battles are listed according to the month in which they occurred. The name of the battle is given, general area in which it was fought, opposing generals as well as the casualty figures on both sides. It is for certain every single battle is not listed nor is any details given, but the reader is provided with a quick glance at the horrible cost of that terrible war.
